Biography:

Reed Richards, also known as Mr. Fantastic, is a brilliant scientist and superhero from Marvel Comics.

He is best known as the leader of the Fantastic Four, a superhero team formed after they were exposed to cosmic rays during an experimental space flight. Mr. Fantastic's primary ability is his elasticity, allowing him to stretch, deform, and reshape his body at will.

A variant of Reed Richards appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022). In this film, he is from Earth-838 and a member of the Illuminati, a secret council of powerful heroes. This version is portrayed by John Krasinski. This Richards is ultimately killed by the Scarlet Witch.

The first appearance of Mr. Fantastic was in Fantastic Four #1 (November 1961).
